it was sort of amusing... the second half of it that is. the wife takes the belt from him and he goes to get another. i almost thought it was a sketch comedy bit and was waiting for an uncle to come in wearing a wife beater, boxers, suspenders, and sandals with socks on, belt in hand, offering his assistance.

also regardless of how hard the kid was getting hit, the dude took it way too far and was way too angry over trivial shit. to put that much time into trying to beat home a point, is just poor judgement. there are other ways to punish a kid that dont involve quite as much psychological and physical (apparently debatable) trauma.
