It was def. loud enough for their horrible 80's hair metal throwback jams. Actually thought it sounded really good too. Sick little amp. Can you get one from a place with a decent return policy? Try it out at a couple practices and see... return it and upgrade to the 30w if it's not loud enough. I'd say it also depends on whether or not you need an CLEAN volume out of it. I don't think the 15w is going to give you much volume before it starts to breakup.
