And I've been in a similar position, BTW, my wife asked me to consider it for our daughter just to make her parents happy, even though we're both agnostic.

Needless to say, she was not baptized, and would be over my dead body. Actually, even not then.

What I don't get about devoutly religious people is that they're SURE that the family and local community and religion they happened to be born in therefore must be the only true and right religion out of the thousands that exist, and everyone else is going to hell, even though every other devout person from every other religion is equally sure of the same thing - and none of them find this odd or the least bit suspicious.
