I'm curious what a DYA party looks like. 50% chance it's a room full of drunk degenerates listening to Ride the Lightning shooting bleach filled Super Soakers at eachother for fun, 50% chance it's a dead silent room full of people on their laptops playing Dwarf Fortress.
a little bit of column A, a little bit of column B?

Hahahahaa....

Y'know, this is so close to the truth it's not even funny. I've been chuckling to myself over the last few weeks about the particular blend of punks, metalheads and gamers that end up at our parties. I can't 100% guarantee that a D&D game won't spontaneously break out admidst the smashing shit and screaming. LOL

I can, however, guarantee that my party wrestling career is sidelined due to injury. At our housewarming party, it was unanimously decided that it was very important we find out whether I or my boy Brandon would win in a laundry room match. I was drunk enough to think this was a good idea, forgetting that a) I'm (at the time) almost 30, and have already destroyed my body, and that b) Brandon is maybe 23, 24 and fresh out of basic training. (Edit: Wait, no, it was AIT.) I put him through the wall with a pretty slick hip toss, but he ended up getting me in an armbar and pulling the fucker out of the socket before I decided it was maybe time to tap.

im hoping for livingroom circle pits...

That was the kitchen, thank you very much, and only after my girlfriend broke up the "STEVE HATES HIS NEIGHBORS" floor-stomping chant I had going in the spare room. I blame the The Shit kids, 'cause they're not in a position to deny anything. (Katie made the mistake of leaving me and a bottle of Jameson in charge while she left to go pick somebody up. When she came back, McCarthy was lighting the bulletin board on fire, I was laughing my ass off on the floor, and the bottle had mysteriously disappeared.)
