Meh... It is possible to refuse a free CD without being a jerk about it. I mean, it's really not necessary to be a jerk when someone is trying to give you free stuff. All you have to say is, "No thanks" or, "Sorry, I don't have enough room in my pockets. I don't want to lug around a bunch of crap all night".

What is really annoying is when you have some free CDs out on a table... you're not even handing them out... and people take them like they think it's great. Then, you find a bunch of those free CDs all over the floor later on. Why bother taking it if you don't want it? It costs money to put that crap together. If you don't want it, leave it on the freaking table.
