Caffeine has never made me feel "better" per say. I started drinking coffee last winter when I'd have to staff these med school lectures for work. The only way (and I mean ONLY) I could stay awake to read, browse espn.com, or even have the ability to do my job was to drink a cup of coffee. Otherwise I'd be so tired it would hurt 30 minutes into 3 hours worth of lectures.
