Relapse Records recording artists ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY will enter the studio to record their new album, tentatively titled Fulton Hill.

ATP will enter Richmond, Virginia's Glass Hand Recording studios with producer Mark Miley (ATP's Staring at the Divine) beginning February 6th to begin laying down tracks for Fulton Hill - the band's first recording with new vocalist Johnny Weils. Advance song titles from Fulton Hill include "Last of all Last Calls", "Blasphemy", "The Revelator", "Lunar Eclipse", "Struggling for Balance", "3 Stars", "Bearbaiting", "Dry Rot", "Wage Slave" and "Alone Again". Fulton Hill is slated for a spring, 2004 release date via Relapse.

ATP guitarist Erik Larson commented, "Albums are like books in a way. They're a document of where a band has been, where it is currently, and gives glimpses into where a band is going. I think that is what an album should be after all. We want the listener to experience as much as we did while making a record and be able to share our elation in bringing it to fruition. Folks will be treated to a healthy blend of classic ATP and surprises showing this unified band not afraid to take some chances and new directions".

Additional ATP information will be made available via the Relapse Records website: www.RELAPSE.com and the ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY website: www.ALABAMATHUNDERPUSSY.com.
