That's what I listen to music for. I follow politics because that shit affects all of us whether I like it or not. But seriously, what the fuck is the point of being part of a subculture that gets away from the vast majority of people and their bullshit if you're going to watch football, the most mainstream of boring, hyped up crap? Everybody on TV hyped up the fucking Super Bowl like it was going to be the greatest thing of all time. I watched the first half of the game, and it wasn't. It was another boring fucking football game, just like all the shit in the regular season and other playoff games. Then people report it on the news. "Oh, it's so bad that the Patriots lost", big fucking deal. If someone else has a hobby it gets looked down upon as dorky or lame yet sports fanatics get their own fucking TV channel and nationally televised games like it's somehow less nerdy than everything else in the world. Fuck it all.
