Might want to reevaluate that one man. I did ask a legitimate question, whether or not it was actually still popular. There were a multitude of bands that came out of the woodwork, following the release of Devourment's debut album. I thought it was a sudden trend that would lose steam fast. Especially considering there were a lot of great death metal bands that played those types of riffs, but failed to get any recognition for it. I just like the older bands I guess.
