Halloween is always a good excuse for a band to revert back to its garage roots and play covers again, paying tribute to the bands it started out idolizing. Tonight at O'Brien's Pub in Allston, the cover bill is mostly metal. Rampant Decay channels '80s hardcore bands Agnostic Front and Negative Approach, Betrayed By All plays English metal from the Business and Cocksparrer, Witch Tomb tries out the black metal of Bathory, and the punk/metal group Panzerbastard (above) does Celtic Frost and Hellhammer.
