Pharmacists can refuse to give someone birth control in this country because of "religious beliefs". [Can fucking jews refuse to sell non-kosher meat at the check-out counter? NO. Why? Because that's fucking stupid.] Abortion clinics are being closed, torched, and terrorized. Schools are refusing to teach REAL sex ed... you think spending more on ineffective education is going to "prevent slum-births" you're out of your fucking mind.

I'm not praising thier methods, I don't condone their approach to the problem. I'm saying peoples' critisism isn't legit. If you're going to protest something, do it with an informed opinion, you know?

The states that are spending this kind of money on religiously backed abstinence program are supported by and often times voted on by the uninformed citizens.

people who's opinions include "spending 50 million dollars on abstinence programs will work and our kids won't have sex" is just as worthless as people who are against these programs but with no legitimate reason.
