I also think that COA did a misfits cover, but I'm not sure. Colin started the set looking out into the audience and saying "there are a lot of new faces here. looks like someone hasn't been following the first rule of fight club"

donnybrook: for a band that I've never actualy heard on CD, I've seen them plenty. they have a serious Madball influences and the drums are mixed up from 2-step into groovey. good for the peeps to shake their booty. scott vogel came out on the mic during their set. Also there was a cover that I didn't know. for their entire set, the heat was seriously turned up. I was sweating so bad.

death before dishonor: whoah.. now that's what a DBD show should be like. the place was packed and people went crazy. "someone" even bulldozed into b-roll amp and stuff. He was really pissed about it, but all the gear was up and running with in 1/2 a song. To use a quote from Colin, "they are the best band in hardcore". shows like this just prove it.

terror: I thought that a lot of people were going to leave (mostly cause of the heat) after DBD, but I'd say about 80% of the kids stuck around to check out terror. Scott was probably in the best form I've ever seen him in. he was rolling around in the pit the whole time and then put his full energy into the show. impressive in that heat. At some point during their set, the new guitarist's, martin, guitar broke so he just grabbed a mic. so did the singer of donnybrook, martin and scott ran around the stage with mics. that's a lot of singers... and if that wasn't enough, Colin came up and grabbed the mic as well as others from the crowd (I almost thought I was watching xdeathstarx). Terror is a funny band. I can go see them at SOTU on a huge stage and they seem so corporate, so "accessible". then they come to brockton and play a small stage show and they seem so real underground, so much like any other great local hardcore band.
