Bitching about problems is a democratic duty. Not bitching about it, and only taking shots at people who do bitch, is a deriliction of democracy. The price of freedom is vigilance. To argue with this is to argue with the founding fathers.

It takes balls for an American to stick up for Arabs in the political climate of the last five years. It takes no balls at all to call them towelheads, it's the most tired cliche of an ignorant pack mentality, and the easiest cheap shot in the world to take.

Posting an article that says absolutely nothing controversial or disputed about Lebanon is not a sign of hating America. Hating America is suggesting that any citizen who sees an imperfection in the state automatically doesn't like living here and should leave the country. That's a fascist principle, and completely un-American.
