i dont care who plays as long as the sound is decent and doesn't make me feel disoriented to the point where I can't tell if they are playing or doing a soundcheck.

who hasn't been apart of the 'stadium of retards' at one time or another? To me, bands who have their shit together and play in basements and dark bars have a responsibility to show stadium fans they can compete with stadium bands. Stadium fan sees non-stadium band and later supports more basement and dark bar shows. That's an advantage to playing large stadium shows. It's a lot of work to sell tickets, not to mention ponying up the cash to get started. Playing the show will probably the easiest part of the experience.
