yeah, that was a great time...i wouldn't advise it, haha.

there's a place in framingham, ma on route 9 across from enterprise that rents like 16 passenger vans. we got one for a 1 day trip to philadelphia. it cost 159, including a $25 surcharge since the person driving (myself) wasn't the credit card holder. that's a bit pricy, but they said for a week it would only cost like $500, and you don't have to pay milage. a lot of places charge a shitload for milage. if you're interested i'll try to get the info. if sexcrement can't find a van for whenever it is we're touring, we'll most likely be choosing this place.

Goratory rented a van there once, for a trip to upstate NY. I forget the cost but the fuckin thing wouldn't start the next day, when I went to bring it back! It was dead in my driveway, thank god it was in my driveway & not in the Saratoga Winners parking lot. We also rented a van from Enterprise for the New Mexico trip, it was about $1000 and we put 4400 miles on it in 1 week. It was a brand new Chevy cargo van. I think thats the way to go.... 2 seats, all your equipment & your band stuffed in there. Who needs seat belts? Just don't get pulled over.

goddamn!
when we got the van we made sure to ask a shitload of questions; they said everything had been checked by their mechanics like 3 times; once when the last customer brought it back, once the night we told them to hold it for us, and once before we went to pick it up. they said if anything went wrong and it was not visably our fault, we would not be held responsible.

they use fords, so that probably explains why it wouldn't start. ooooh...zing
