EXHUMED ANNOUNCE U.S. AND EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOURS

Relapse Records recording artists EXHUMED have announced two headlining tours in support of their brand new album, Anatomy is Destiny.

EXHUMED will kick off their first North American tour in support of Anatomy is Destiny on September 20th in St. Paul, MN. Support on the tour will be provided by Kataklysm, Diabolic and Malignancy. Following the North American tour, EXHUMED will head to Europe with labelmates CEPHALIC CARNAGE and France's Inhume in tow, heading up a three week jaunt that begin October 11th in Paris, France. The 22 city tour will conclude November 2nd in Zottegem, Belgium and will include performances in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Belgium in addition to 5 shows in France, centered around the tour's kick-off date.

Additionally, EXHUMED will play their last show with drummer and founding member Col Jones this Saturday, September 13th at The Pound in their home town of San Francisco. The show will also serve as the record release party for Anatomy is Destiny and see the band film live footage for two upcoming music videos. The videos, for the tracks "Waxwork" and "The Matter of Splatter" (from Anatomy is Destiny), will integrate live footage with conceptual / principal photography footage shot earlier this month.

On drummer Jones' final performance with the band, EXHUMED guitarist / vocalist Matt Harvey states, ""I know that I speak for not only myself, but for the entire band in saying that we are definitely saddened to see Col leave the band after all of this time. At the same time, we all have a lot of personal respect for the dedication and work that he's put into EXHUMED over the last 12 years. Without him, there would be no EXHUMED. Through the years we've become brothers and gone through so many great and awful experiences along the way, his leaving the band would never take that away. We all (Col included) feel that this is easily the best EXHUMED record to date and we look forward to seeing all of you on the road, in the morgue, or at the bar this year." Following the departure of Jones, drummer Danny Walker (also of Relapse artists UPHILL BATTLE) will join the band for their forthcoming touring commitments.

Additional EXHUMED news and tour information will be made available via the EXHUMED website, www.EXHUMED.us and the Relapse Records website: www.RELAPSE.com.
