I care because they lived sustainably, were independent, and actually took care of one another instead of trampling eachother for monetary gain. White people got here and starved with their technology. Unfortunately the natives gave them food (but would the whites have returned the favor?) and now this place is a giant cesspool.

Yeah and natives didn't live in tribes that were very often at war with each other. Your picture of native american life is way too idealistic.

I never said they were perfect, no one has been, in all of history, but I think we could examine several aspects of their cultures to improve ours, which is really fucking sad at the moment.
