I used to hate Ozzy-Black Sabbath and swear by Judas Priest as the real first Metal band. Though I always have liked some old Black Sabbath songs, but Ozzy was never a good singer and Black Sabbath was always better without him.
I went to Ozzfest last year to see Priest and after seeing Priest I couldnt stand to see Black Sabbath especially when Ozzy started yelling "COMMMOONNNN" or whatever he was yelling in a sad/pathetic attempt to get the audience going; and his voice was just earpiercing and REALLY annoying, so we just left after a song. And the rest of the show before that sucked too. So yea, no matter how much money Bruce Dickinson is making a night, he is completely right about Ozzfest and how much it completely sucks.
I remember too when Ozzfest had that horrible logo and that STUPID stick figure logo Ozzy-guy that was blatantly trying to appeal to 15-year-old MallGoths and they had horrible bands like Marilyn Manson; and then when all the Metalcore started getting popular they did a little overhaul and made the logo look more "metal" and added that new demon character thing which is smoking a cigar or something stupid. what a load of crap
