I have utmost respect for my blood line. I still have to say I disagree with this. You can certainly be proud of your heritage without being racist, but that doesn't make it any less stupid. When you take accomplishments of people that came before you and use them as a way to make yourself look better, that makes a person pretty shitty in my eyes. People should be required to stand on their own merits.
