Help me out. The difference I think between todays metalcore and todays hardcore is more or less the way the song flows. Todays hardcore seems to just be wicked dumbed down punk played heavier, todays metalcore seems to be wicked dumbed down metal, played lighter and has fused itself with the worst qualities of Creed. The so-called grindcore that most of the so-called hardcore kids listen to is basically just the exact same as metalcore, but with gayer lyrics.
