They both have halfstack combos around the 600$ range. I have a hartke vx3500 half stack I paid 600$ for, 350 watts, tube simulater, onboard eq, nasty amp. and I got carvin Redeye full stack for just arounda grand. (although hartke has a halfstack in the 600$ range) Backline by gallien has a cheap half stack, I'd avoid it though.
