The only triggers ive seen are on Nefarious' drum set and the ones Dave Suzuki has in his practice space and they both work so that they make the same noise no matter how hard you hit the drums. So yea youre playing fast but you could just be tapping the snare or bass pedal and it would make this thundering manowar production drum sound regardless of how hard you hit it. Some drumemrs can do that without triggers and its nice to see that every once in awhile because its rare these days.

And i edited this post because i accidentally sent it too early because im stoned.

FACT, the faster the bpm, the less time you have to hit the drum again. Sure some drummers hit harder than others at faster speeds, but doesn't mean the drummer is cheating. He just doesn't hit as hard and wants people to be able to hear the drums as well as if he were playing a slow beat.
