Metal fans have an odd habbit of going out of thier way to throw stones at the punk and hardcore scene. If I were to say metal is: Hair first, black leather second, metal spikes third... and music rates in somewhere around 13th I would get some posts by a bunch of metal heads declaring my ignorance, as if all of thier 'hardcore is about bandanas and camo shorts' are somehow wiped clean.
People shouldn't segrigate the two arts, there are much better things to hate out there.
